Astrid Mueller
Astrid Mueller is a professional digital illustrator specializing in fashion and lifestyle illustrations. Her artworks remind of the fashion and elegance of the 1950ies, yet reflect today's spirit and trends. She started her design career with a graphic design position at Swarovski, acquired a multimedia producer diploma at SAE institute Zurich, Switzerland, and studied drawing, painting and art history in the U.S.A. It was only in April 2006 that she opened her own illustration and design business, called "potatomammadesign", yet she already works for several international clients. She designs in many different styles, does storyboards and layouts, and, as a specialty, custom made character designs (tailored to appeal to a specific target group). Her company motto is "Potatoes keep you healthy and make me happy — my illustrations keep me healthy and make you happy. ;-)"
